The guest room availability changes regularly. Please contact the Graduate House Office by e-mail to determine the availability of the space. Please ensure to include the desired check-in and check-out date(s) for your reservation(s) in your email. You are also welcome to follow-up by phone at 416.946.8881.

Types of Guest Rooms

Graduate House currently makes two guest rooms available: a Single Guest Room and a Double Guest Room. These spaces are meant to house visitors for short-term stays on a per-night basis. Our guest rooms are extremely popular with family and friends of our residents as well as with other visitors to the University of Toronto.

Both rooms are equipped with telephone service (with complimentary local calling), wireless router, cable television, and a small refrigerator. Each guest room has its own private 4-piece washroom. All linens and towels are provided. Please note that both guest suites are walk-up units that have stairs.

Reservations can only be confirmed for applicants who: are over the age of 18, agrees to have the quoted charges apply to their credit card and valid U of T student account, and accepts all liabilities for any damages caused by themselves or invited guest(s) while staying at Graduated House.

Room Rates:

Single Guest Room (single twin bed)

$59.22 plus HST 

$61.00 plus HST - beginning Sept 1st, 2020

Double Guest Room (double bed)

$91.67 plus HST 

$94.42 plus HST - beginning Sept 1st, 2020

Check-in & Check-out Times:


Weekdays: 2:00pm to 11:00pm

Weekends: 2:00pm to 6:00pm


No later than 12:00noon on the check-out date.

Reservation Process:

  1. Send a booking inquiry e-mail to the Graduate House Office. Please ensure to include the desired check-in and check-out dates.
  2. A staff member will determine the availability of the space and respond to the initial inquiry email. Please note that a booking inquiry is NOT a reservation--your reservation is not complete until it has been secured and confirmed with by us in an e-mailed response.
  3. In order to confirm your reservation, we will require a valid credit card or a current students account number.


Payment for guest room stays can be made by credit card, debit card or a charge to ROSI for current students.

Cancellation Policy:

We require a minimum of 24 hours written notice to cancel a guest room reservation or a one-night penalty will be charged. If no written notice of cancellation is received, a charge for the full length of the reservation will apply. For reservations of 7 nights or more, a 50% deposit is required upon making the reservation. This deposit will be forfeited should the reservation be cancelled for any reason.
